EXPERIENCE

Audit Partner of Carroll and Company, CPAs since 2005. Joined the firm in 2001. Over twenty years of combined financial statement and internal audit experience with Carroll and Company, CPAs and Ernst & Young, LLP, primarily serving clients in the not-for-profit industry. Significant experience in the performance of process and internal control improvement reviews covering all significant accounting and operational processes, and in the performance of compliance audits in accordance with OMB Circular A-133 and Chapter 10.650, Rules of the Auditor General. Since 2009, Kathleen has also provided services to public and private entities seeking tax credit for brownfield site rehabilitation costs under Florida’s Voluntary Cleanup Tax Credit (VCTC) program, including providing the attestation report and CPA certification required for VCTC applications.
